How do I book a tutoring session?

To book a tutoring session, first log in to your student account. Browse available tutors or select your preferred tutor from your favorites. Check their availability calendar, select a time slot that works for you, and click "Book Session." Confirm the details and complete payment to finalize your booking.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel or reschedule sessions up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations between 12-24 hours before the session receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 12 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund, except in cases of emergency which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

How do payments work?

Payments are processed securely through our platform using major credit/debit cards or PayPal. Students pay when booking a session, and tutors receive payment after the session is completed, minus the platform service fee. You can manage your payment methods and view transaction history in your account settings.

How do I become a tutor on English Atlantic?

To become a tutor, create a tutor account and complete your profile with your qualifications, subjects you can teach, availability, and hourly rate. Upload necessary documents like degrees or certifications. Our team will review your application, and once approved, your profile will be visible to students seeking tutors.

What technology do I need for online sessions?

For the best experience, you'll need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone, and an updated browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). You don't need to download any additional software as our platform works directly in your browser.
